Favorite Oyster Recipes
Raw Oysters with Mango Salsa
Ingredients
- 3 ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted & diced small
- ¼ cup diced red onion
- ¼ cup diced red bell pepper
- 1 fresh jalapeño, seeded & minced (leave seeds if you want it spicier)
- Juice of 1 large lime (about ¼ cup)
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ½ bunch chopped fresh cilantro
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- ¼ tsp ground coriander
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl, and incorporate with a spoon or spatula.
- Best if let sit for 45 minutes-1 hour before serving.
- Keep cold until you’re ready to spoon onto your raw oysters!
Eat and enjoy!
Yields about 1 quart.
